Description
Wet or icy snow almost always requires a clamp-based grip lubrication, as the solid jar lubricants are not soft and tough enough to achieve the necessary grip. The Start collection has a very good selection of clamps to suit different conditions. The START special range of cleats are floorless grip aids for competitors and amateurs alike. UNIVERSAL WIDE – For temperatures between +10…-5 – Suitable for use in variable snow conditions as a stand-alone grip and for mixing with other grips – Weight: 55 g Instructions for use Apply a very thin layer of base grip to the ski base. To remove the base coat from the tube, warm the tube. Smooth the base coat with a warm lubricating board so that the base coat covers the entire grip area evenly. Smooth with a thumb or synthetic cork and cool the ski. Apply the temperature-appropriate conditioner drop by drop to the grip area so that the conditioner droplets are in a regular row about 5 cm apart on either side of the ski boot guide zone. Use either a thumb or a cork stick to spread the clinker to form an even layer. Clean the guide zone and the sides of the skis of excess glue. When mixing, drizzle the different types of clinker onto the base of the ski and rub with your thumb, mixing the clinkers together. Allow the skis to cool properly before skiing.
