Description

Holding targets are set in the ski holding area. The best way to determine the grip area is to do a test on a piece of paper. If the ski is only used for classic skiing, the grip area of the ski base could be roughened with sandpaper. This way, the grip will stay better under the base of the ski and will be more resistant to wear. START synthetic grips are suitable for use on both new and old snow. These lubricants are used by amateurs and competitors alike. Synthetic grip compound purple – Temperature range +1…-3 – Suitable for both old and new snow – Weight: 45 g Instructions for use Apply a thin and even layer of primer to the grip area, followed by a temperature-appropriate grip compound. Smooth with a synthetic cork. Repeat the application procedure 2-3 times, levelling each coat. Coats may be coated with different temperature retention compounds. A harder (colder-weather) tack coat is generally applied underneath to increase wear resistance and improve the bond between the different layers. The top coat is weather-appropriate.
