Fluid Monitor – with all important training parameters
From the time per five hundred meters to measuring the distance traveled with an accuracy of one meter. From the number of strokes per minute to the number of watts per stroke. Track all your training parameters at a glance with the simple yet complete Fluid Monitor. The display can be adjusted if desired, so that your results are always clearly visible. Add 100 meters to your training goal with the push of a button or adjust the resistance level with the water tank adjustment button.
Connect with heart rate belt
By measuring your heart rate, you can find out if you are exerting yourself optimally. Excessive increase in heart rate can lead to overload and injury. If your heart rate remains too low, your endurance will not improve significantly. All in all, the heart rate belt gives you valuable information to make your workouts effective and safe!
Made of durable steel and American island wood
The Tunturi Fluid Apollo Plus rowing ergometer combines the best of both worlds: the strength of steel and the robust look of wood. The frame of the water tank is made of steel, while the rest of the rowing machine is made of strong and durable American island wood. The wood has been sanded and varnished twice to provide extra protection even during the most intense workouts.
Every detail is optimized for intensive and long-term use
Each threaded hole in the wooden frame has a metal lining. This prevents the wood from splitting or the screw from falling over during assembly and maintains the strength of the rowing machine over time. Double-bearing wheels under the seat move smoothly over plastic strips attached to both rails. This prevents wear and tear, ensuring a quiet rowing experience at all times.
High-quality ergonomic handle for good grip and correct posture
The Fluid Rower Apollo Plus has a high-quality ergonomic handle. Thanks to its slightly curved and extra wide shape, it ensures the best grip during every rowing stroke. Your body automatically assumes the best posture so you can apply maximum force. The handle is connected with a nylon belt: strong, quiet and stable. The strength of the belt and the elasticity of the belt that pulls the belt back has been optimized so that it does not add resistance, but still smoothly pulls the belt back into the trainer as soon as you move forward. This is done in one smooth motion, without the belt feeling like it's pulling or “jerking” as it moves.
The frame of the tank easily withstands the most powerful rowing pulls
The wooden frame above the tank absorbs the most force during training. This is because you push the footrest with your feet and pull the strap at the front with the rope. Since the Fluid Rower Apollo Plus frame consists of a single piece of curved wood, it avoids squeaks and rattles and feels extremely stable. This allows you to train as hard as you want without worrying about breaking anything.
Water Resistance: Rowing like in water
It sounds, feels and looks like you're in the water thanks to the high-quality water tank and patented Twin Tank technology. This unique system allows you to easily adjust the water resistance at any time.

Tunturi literally means “big mountain”, which symbolizes overcoming challenges and the feeling that comes after intense training and self-surpassing.
Tunturi started in 1922 . in Turku, Finland , when brothers Aarne and Eero Harke opened the bicycle shop Pyöräkellari Oy. At first, the main focus was repairing bicycles, then they produced their own bicycles under the name of Tunturi. The brand was very successful and within a few years the small shop was replaced by a factory, and by the 1950s the Tuntur brand was in a leading position in the domestic moped market. Using the technology and knowledge gained from bicycle production, Tunturi expanded into the production of other sports equipment.
1969 . In 1998, Tunturi changed the entire fitness industry by introducing the world’s first bicycle ergometer for home use , and a year later received international recognition as a sports equipment manufacturer.
In the 1990s, a strategic decision was made to focus on the production of Tuntur fitness products and Tuntur bicycles. This decision was important for the further development of the brand. Tunturi is now a well-known brand in Scandinavian countries, and Tunturi fitness products are sold in more than 40 countries worldwide . Tunturi is now located in Almere (near Amsterdam in the Netherlands), owned by the Accell Group.
