The Christopeit WP 5000 is a rowing ergometer made of sturdy oak. With its stable design, the exerciser simulates an authentic and joint-friendly rowing workout thanks to an innovative resistance system consisting of water resistance and directly adjustable magnetic resistance.
You determine the intensity of the workout mainly by your own pulling strength (fast and intense pulling to build muscle, slow pulling to increase endurance). The water volume of the large water tank (approx. Ø 57 cm) is freely adjustable. The wear-free 16-speed magnetic brake system provides even more flexibility, which, in addition to water resistance, offers the possibility to quickly and easily change the resistance by turning the outer ring. With a seat height of 30 cm, a 95 cm rowing handle, a comfortable seat on ball bearings and adjustable footrests with straps, people with a height between 150 cm and 220 cm and a maximum body weight of 150 kg can exercise smoothly and safely.
A modern computer records all the important exercise data: time per 500 m, speed per km/h, exercise time, distance, approximate calorie expenditure, heart rate, total rowing strokes, rowing strokes per minute, magnetic resistance level – either in static mode or in variable mode, which can be adjusted from the computer. The LED display ensures easy reading of the data in all lighting conditions. You can securely attach your smartphone or tablet to the tablet holder.
The innovative ball-bearing rowing handle with quick-release clips allows you to pack the rowing ergometer quickly and easily (height approx. 140 cm). Once folded, the seat also locks so that the rowing ergometer maintains its position even in the vertical position. Three transport wheels – one of which can rotate through 360° – make it easy to reposition the rowing ergometer in the vertical position, so it can find a place in almost any living space.
In addition, the WP 5000 supports Bluetooth4.0 connectivity. The device is also compatible with the Kinomap app. This allows you to workout in an entertaining way and record your training data on Android or iOS devices. After a free trial period, the Kinomap app can be purchased for a fee!
