To help you assemble your children’s ski set:
We recommend to choose ski boots one size bigger than your regular boots. Your child can safely leave room for growth and choose 2 sizes larger.
The skis included in the set are classic skis, but by choosing a shorter length, you can also skate (classic skis cannot be skied).
As a rule, classic skis should be chosen 15-20 cm longer than your height, skis 5-10 cm longer. If you want to ski both techniques with one pair of skis, you should choose skis that are about 10-15 cm taller than your own height.
For younger children, whether or not they are just starting out, skis of their own height are best. Longer skis are more difficult to manoeuvre and may discourage your child from skiing altogether.
Helpful for finding the right length of pole:
For the classic technique: skier’s length x 0.85.
For free technique: skier’s length x 0.9
For the classic technique: skier’s length x 0.85.
For free technique: skier’s length x 0.9
